A dark, gothic interpretation of rose that juxtaposes airy ozonic and aldehydic facets with spicy, salty and resinous elements. It opens on aldehydes, ozonic notes, black pepper and a salty facet; the heart folds in Bulgarian rose, lavender, cinnamon and oakmoss to give a leathery-spicy floralness; the base dries down to incense/olibanum, ambergris (orientalgris), cashmeran, sandalwood and patchouli for a warm, balsamic and slightly smoky finish. The result reads savory, floral and melancholic rather than a classic “jammy” rose. 
Performance:
Good longevity with a unique, savory-floral sillage. Lasting well on skin and clothing but generally not overpowering.
